Wilma Large System with 4 x 18 Litre Pots.

  • The Wilma drip irrigation system is a collaberation between Nutriculture and Atami.
  • The Wilma system is simple, flexible and offers superior yields to hand watered pots. The hydroponic system is designed low to the ground, allowing more space for plants.
  • The Wilma system is available in 19 different styles ensuring there is a Wilma System compatible with every garden.
  • This Large Wilma system features 4 x 18 litre pots and a 50 litre reservoir. The entire system measures 75cm x 75cm x 20cm. Ideal for those gardeners working with a small space or a small tent.

Wilma System DemonstrationWhat are the benefits of using a Wilma System?

The Wilma system feeds the plants little and often, which provides the plants with more water and nutrients than if they were hand-watered. The benefit of watering little and often is to stop the plants becoming waterlogged and starving the roots of oxygen, which can happen when plants are watered once a day.

With Wilma plants are never over or underfed or watered. This results in optimum plant growth and better results then hand watering. The frequent watering is ideal for use with clay pebbles, allowing for a hydroponic growing system which gives the gardener full control. Clay pebbles also allow much more air around the roots and more oxygen = bigger yields.

Each Wilma system comes with all the different drip stakes you need, giving the grower the flexibility to change the growing media. The pots are easily movable making the Wilma System incredibly flexible, the user can easily reposition plants for uniform crop growth. There's also a handy inspection hatch on the top tray for regular checks of nutrient solution levels and the rootzone, a tap for draining the tank and insert points for the drip lines - meaning you won't need to create any holes yourself.

What is included in the system?

A complete Wilma system contains: Tank, tray, pots, pump, delivery system, flood drippers, arrow drippers and full instructions.

What grow mediums can I use with a Wilma system?

Wilma is ideal to use with most grow mediums including: Soil, Clay Pebbles, Coco and Rockwool.

How often do my plants needs watering in a Wilma system?

Watering times will be dependent upon environmental conditions such as light, humidity and temperature. These feeding schedules are a guideline, it is important to watch plants for signs of over or under feeding and adjust the feeding times accordingly.

Plants under lights will take up water at a greater rate than they take up nutrient. Over time the EC of the solution will rise. Top up the tank with half strength nutrient solution, check EC and add extra nutrient if required. Then adjust pH level and perform a solution change every 2-3 weeks to keep the pH and EC balanced.

Top up the tank with near full strength nutrient solution before the level in the tank drops below the pump. Check EC and add extra nutrient if required. Then adjust pH and perform a solution change every 2-3 weeks to keep the pH and EC balanced.

Grow  Medium  Dripper Type Watering Times for Young Plants Watering Times for Older Plants

Clay pebbles

Flood Drippers

Clay Pebbles require more frequent watering as their water retention is lower then most other mediums.

When plants first go into the system feed 1-3 x a day.

As plants grow, increase the number of feeds to a maximum of 6 x a day. Use with an imperium contoller to set shorter but more frequent feeds to maximise oxygenation and nutrient uptake.

Rockwool

Arrow Drippers

When plants first go into the system feed 2x a day.

As plants grow, increase the number of feeds up to a maximum of 5x per day or use an Imperium controller to set shorter but more frequent feeds to maximise oxygenation and nutrient uptake.

Soil or Clay Pebbles

Arrow Drippers

When plants first go into the system feed once a day.

As plants grow, increase the number of feeds up to a maximum of 5x per day or use an Imperium controller to set shorter but more frequent feeds to maximise oxygenation and nutrient uptake.

Caring for your Wilma system

Drippers will need cleaning occasionanly to prevent blockages.
